Do you charge commission or a monthly fee for trading?
We do not charge any commissions. We are compensated through the bid/ask spread. There is no monthly fee involved when you trade with Forex Trading Edge. If you would like to know our spreads please follow the link below www.forexte.com/pips
Are my deposit secured by the FDIC?
No the FDIC does not provide insurance for Forex accounts
How are you related to Forex AutoCash, AutoPilot, Forex Killer, or any other company that sells Expert Advisors?
We provide support if you have trouble setting up MetaTrader, issues with Expert Advisors, or questions about the Forex market. We do not provide advice on which Expert Advisors works the best because we do not test or use the Expert Advisors.
Demo Trading Account
How do I signup for a Demo Account?
If you visit our website at www.forexte.com you can setup a practice trading account by choosing Free Demo. Once you fill out the form it will bring you to a screen to download our platform. Simply save or run the application file and you can start trading with a practice account right away.
Am I charged a monthly fee or commission when I trade on a demo account?
No the demo account is for practice only. The charts are updated in real-time but you are not charged any fees for signing up for a demo account.
Can I create more than one demo account?
There is no limit on how many demo account you create, if you are having trouble connecting to your demo account or lose your login info, you can create a new demo account. Simply go to File > Open an Account and create a new demo account.
Does a demo account ever expire?
No, demo accounts are good until you run out of funds.
How would I add more funds to my demo account?
You cannot add funds to a demo account if you run out of funds, but you can get a fresh new demo. Simply go to File > Open an Account and create a new demo account.
Live Trading Account
Where can I sign up for a live account?
If you go to www.forexte.com and choose Open Account you will be guided through on how to setup a live account.
What information do I need to provide if I live outside the U.S.?
For foreign accounts you would need to fax or email two photo IDs. That includes a passport, driver’s license, or a recent telephone bill with name and address.
Can I trade on my live account if the funds have not been deposited or are in the process of being deposited?
You have to have funds in your account in order to trade, if you sent a wire transfer, credit card payment, or check to fund your account please wait until the account balance is updated when you login to your live account.
Can my account ever go negative?
No your account can never go negative; if trades are going against you and you do not have enough margin in your positions will be closed when margin hits 0.
Can I trade Micro lots on a live account?
Yes, a micro lot is .01 - .09
New Accounts
How long does it take to setup a live account?
Once you fill out the application online it takes 2-3 business days for the application to be processed. If some portions of the application are left incomplete or certain documents have not been received it may delay the process.
How soon can I start trading once my new account is setup?
Once funds are deposited into your account you will be able to trade.

Deposit / Withdraw Funds
What is the minimum amount I can fund the live account with?
We require new clients to fund a live account with a minimum of $250.
Is there a minimum I have to keep in an account after my initial $250 minimum deposit?
No, after your first initial $250 deposit you do not have to maintain a balance of $250. Your account can never go below $0, but we recommend keeping enough of a balance so you have enough margin to trade.
How long does it take for a wire transfer?
Wire transfers can take 24-36 hours it is the fastest way to deposit funds in your account.
How long does it take to deposit funds via credit card?
Funding via credit card can take 3-5 business days.
How long does it take to deposit funds by check through mail?
Funding your account by check through mail can take 5-7 business days.
